So I wrote to every single Arkansas Senator and this was Senator Alan Clark’s thinly-veiled contemptuous response. He is clearly unwilling to be civil in a discussion about his legislation and very ready to jump to conclusions and force words into other people’s mouths. It’s interesting that he should be “representing” anyone.

The United States DHS has declared that areas 100 miles in from the US border are zones in which the 4th Amendment does not apply.
Major cities like New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and even Houston have been declared by the Department of Homeland Security to be within the official 100 mile ‘border’ of the United States, subjecting 197 million citizens to electronic belonging searches without any suspicion.

What is happening?

how about no

CASUALLY NOTICE HOW THE EXCLUSION ZONES ARE HEAVILY POC-POPULATED….

What a coincidence that the entire state of Michigan is SOL. Oh, and Florida, Maine, Hawaii, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island….

How The Zero Weeks Of Paid Maternity Leave In The U.S. Compare Globally
American women are offered 12 weeks of unpaid leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act, which exempts companies with fewer than 50 paid employees, but in 2011, only 11 percent of private sector workers and 17 percent of public workers reported that they had access to paid maternity leave through their employer. And for first-time mothers, only about half can take paid leave when they give birth.
This is shameful - and Interesting given the amount of talk we hear about “family values.”

Republicans like to talk about “family values” but that’s all it is - talk.

You should all read The New Feminist Agenda. It basically just talks about this and how the next step for feminism is improving the family/work life balance.

Canada, you’re doing it right. Nearly a year to bond with the baby? Just awesome.

United States? Let me grow a pair of testicles so I can tell you to suck my nuts.

especially all those folks who were up in arms 4 years about how hard it is for women in the political arena and how they’re subjected to gender-based attacks?

or do y’all only pick up arms when it’s a white woman being targeted?

don’t answer, it’s a rhetorical question.

Bachmann (it’s spelled with two Ns, just to clarify) is a twat. I have said it before and I will say it again, because I’m pretty sure it’s too late for her to suddenly gain common sense, intelligence, or understanding. Maybe she should try praying for it!

Having said that, I wasn’t aware of this, but now that I am I have one more reason to glitterbomb the fake if I ever see her. Take that Minnesota Nice and stick it, Bachmann.

Clearly Mrs. Abedin works hard and kicks butt to get where she is, and for Bachmann and a few other idiot Republicans to think their best shot at her is “Oh crap, she’s Muslim, you guys better make sure she’s not a terrorist!” shows just how incredibly feeble-minded they are.
