"In the clinical world, the term difficult is applied to a variety of patients: the noncompliant; the rude, abusive, and manipulative; the malingering; the mentally ill; the skeptical. In my case, I too frequently challenged my doctors with questions and too often chose a treatment that differed from what they’d recommended. I consider myself to be an assertive patient, but it was clear on many occasions that some providers thought I deserved the ‘difficult’ label."
Just to be clear, I used to be a member of SG. I watched comments dissappear and policies change while they played stupid, I watched Sean insult people, I watched a mass archival of girls that came with no explanation, I watched crappy photoset after crappy photoset get approved (hint: your cell phone is not a legit camera and the shower idea’s been done 50 times) while amazing sets were rejected (like the Stepford wife set that they claimed was rejected because some older set had used pie). I watched while Girls left because they were treated so poorly and against their contracts, and SG edited the blog entries of those Girls to cover up the poor treatment. I watched SG refuse to pay for sets that got used.
I watched them sue Lithium Picnic under false pretenses because they were jealous of how well his career was going, while LP sold his cameras and equipment to have the funds to fight it. Of course, SG counted on him doing that; they tried to force him out of business.
Redheads are great. But when I see SG photos get blogged/reblogged because they have a redhead in them, I puke in my mouth.
Hmm…but 18 is the legal age in about three states.
I think 18 is the legal age nationally.
This is a common misconception.
States can have their own age but on a federal level, its 18, the age someone can consent, like to hav sex, enter a legal contract, or be emancipated.
I can’t find this anywhere.
I went to school in pre-law, its deff. the way it is. Don’t always believe whats on the internet.
I think the driving age should be raised to 18, because US teenagers are not the pillars of maturity nowadays and generally do not seem to have enough experience or the proper mental capacity to be fully capable of driving at 16. There seems to be a conception that if they’re old enough to drive at 16, they should be able to do anything else, when in most cases it’s quite the opposite.
“So let me get this straight - Larry King is getting his 8th divorce, Elizabeth Taylor is possibly getting married for a 9th time, Jesse James and Tiger Woods are screwing EVERYTHING, yet the idea of same-sex marriage is what is going to destroy the institution of marriage?? REALLY??”—Eden Espinosa (via nikkihebert)
If you want credit for doing something, try making it yourself. You don’t exactly deserve credit for reading some other blog somewhere and sharing an image you saw, or being able to use Google image search, and that is a piss poor excuse for not crediting the creators of the content you’re tumbling.
